Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

Under the supervision of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary and Mrs. SK Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary, a series of Psychological Counseling Programs based on the Therapeutics and Strengths aimed at making the careers and personal lives of a group of randomly selected officers attached to the office a success under the theme 'A Happy World' The fourth program was held on 2022-02-24 in the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat. This is a series of research programs to be conducted over a period of four months. These programs were created by Mrs. Nethra Malagoda, Psychology Counselor. This is a creative project program presented by the Consultancy Division, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat.

The Electoral Meeting of the Maharagama East Rural Development Association was held on 2022-02-19 under the patronage of the Venerable Sangha and Public Officers.

The Divisional Agriculture Committee and the Environment Committee of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat were held on 2022-02-22 under the chairmanship of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary. Piyasiri Liyanage, Co-ordinating Secretary to the Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Assistant Director (Planning), Agrarian Development Divisional Officer, Agriculture Instructor, Coconut Development Officer, Animal Development Officer, Technical Officer, Agricultural Research Production Assistants, Government Officers and Agrarian Representatives of the Maharagama Agrarian Services Center were also present.

Supervision of the Divisional Secretariat, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat on the concept of the Colombo District Secretary / Government Agent, Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne to provide a people friendly public service to further enhance the efficient functioning of the Colombo District Secretariat and the Divisional Secretariats as one family members was held on 2022-02-17 with the made up of a committee comprising of Colombo District Secretary / General Government Agent Pradeep Yasaratne, Additional Government Agent, Divisional Secretary, District Planning Director, Chief Accountant, Chief Internal Auditor and other staff officers.
