
The distribution of 1000 baskets of vegetable plants in the 493 Kalalgoda Division on 2022-04-22 under the Haritha Deyak National Home Garden Program took place at the Gunasekararama Temple.Popular artiste Dilhani Ekanayake was also symbolically given the first sapling distribution of the program which was held with the participation of Grama Niladharis, Samurdhi Officers, Development Officers, Agriculture Officers and other officers and voluntary organizations.

Under the supervision of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary and Mrs. SK Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary, a series of Psychological Counseling Programs based on the Therapeutics and Strengths aimed at making the careers and personal lives of a group of randomly selected officers attached to the office a success under the theme 'A Happy World' The seventh program was held on 21-04-2022 at the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat. This is a series of research programs to be conducted over a period of four months. These programs were created by Psychology Consultant Officer Nethra Malagoda. Resource Contribution was done by Psychology Consultant Officer Nethra Malagoda.

Sigithi Bakmaha Fiesta was held on on 08.04.2022 with the participation of all pre-schools in Maharagama division Conducted by Mrs. Nilushani Ariyaratne, Early Childhood Development Officer Participation, Counseling Officer Mrs. Sripali ,Dance Officer Mrs. Ariyaratne and Supervised by Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary.

A Sinhala Hindu New Year Festival tea party celebration was held for the staff of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat on 2022-04-18 under the patronage of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary.

Pamunuwa Elders Association Anniversary Celebration was held under the patronage of Maharagama Divisional Secretary Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola and Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. S.K. Jayasundara on 06-04-2022 at the Pamunuwa Rural Development Society Hall.
