Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

The programme 'Nena Mini' Sponsorship Scholarship Programme implemented on a concept of the Colombo District Secretary / Government Agent Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne was held on 2022-06-06 at the main auditorium of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat.

Scholarships were awarded to 52 children from economically disadvantaged families.

Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, District Secretary / Government Agent, Colombo, Mr. G. Jayaweera, Chief Accountant, Colombo District, Mr. Senaka Silva, Director, District Planning, all the Divisional Secretaries of the Colombo District and all the officers of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat were present on the occasion Also attended.

Maharagama Divisional Secretariat 493 / B Thalawathugoda East Grama Niladhari Division School books were distributed to the children of low income families on 2022-05-28 under the patronage of the Grama Niladhari.

Distribution of subsidies was done to low income pregnant mothers and families with children under 5 years of age under Indian subsidies on the instructions of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama at the Divisional Secretariat, GN division Kalalgoda on 28/05/2022 by Grama Niladhari, Development Officer and Samurdhi.
