Under the supervision of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary and Mrs. S.K Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary, a series of Psychological Counseling Programs based on the Therapeutics and Strengths aimed at making the careers and personal lives of a group of randomly selected officers attached to the office a success under the theme 'A Happy World' The eighth program was held on 05.05.2022 at the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat. This is a series of research programs to be conducted over a period of four months. Today's is the final in a series of programs. A Divisional Alms Giving Ceremony was held on 03-05-2022 at 496D Kottawa West Division for the purpose of giving goodwill to the deceased members of the Elders' Association. The Divisional Secretary of Maharagama, Economic Development Officer, Grama Niladhari participated in it.

“Asirimat Avurudda” Children's Bakmaha Festival was headed by Divisional Secretary Mrs.Dilrukshi walpola organized by the Samagi Youth Committee and Samagi Youth Club on April 24 at 496 Kottawa South Grama Niladhari Division with the aim of reviving the sports and recreational opportunities lost to children due to the Kovid menace. It was presided over by and attended by other government officials.

The second programme of the Psychological Training Workshop which is expected to be held in six months with the aim of making the career and personal life of the early childhood teachers successful was held on 27-04-2022 at the auditorium of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat. The program was organized by Mrs. Nilushini Ariyaratne, Early Childhood Development Officer. The resource contribution was provided by Mrs. Nethra Malagoda, Psychological Counseling Officer and Mrs. Sripali Pitawala, Counseling Assistant assisted in making the programme a success. The concept of this programme was developed by the Counseling Division of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat under Creative Programmes.

Senehasa Elders' Organization 2022 New Year Festival of Udahamulla West 525B Grama Niladhari Division was held in a grand manner at the 525B Grama Niladhari Service Premises on 23/04/2022. Members of the Elders' Association, government officials and people's representatives were also present.
