Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

Distribution of coconut saplings and turmeric saplings to the beneficiaries of Pamunuwa Division under the program of distributing 4 million coconut saplings symbolically to 15 families at the Cyril Perera Rural Development Society Hall, Pamunuwa on 17/07/2021 under the patronage of the Hon. Minister of External Affairs Dinesh Gunawardena This was attended by government officials and political representatives.

A counseling program on mental healthy life through Zoom Technology for Early Childhood Teachers in Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was conducted by Ms. Nethra Malagoda, Consultant Officer on 16-07-2021. This program was organized by Dileka Abeynayake, Early Childhood Development Officer.

A meeting for development officers was held on 12^th July 2021 at the auditorium of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat under the chairmanship of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama and Mrs. Inoka Wijegunawardena, Assistant Director (Planning). Development Officers including the Officers of the Maharagama Vidatha Center participated in this event.
