On 6th July 2021, the program to produce an organic fertilizer unit was held at Mrs. Vasana Champika's garden in the Wattegedara Division of the Maharagama Urban Zone. Project Manager Sameera Anuranga, Zonal Manager Miss Ranjika, Samurdhi Officer Lalani Ramyalatha, Zonal Assistant Theja, Zonal Agriculture Officer Nalaka and beneficiaries representing the region participated.
