Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

A meeting on Zoom technology on maintaining public services in the face of the Covid situation was held on 23-08-2021 under the chairmanship of Mrs. SK Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary on the instructions of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama. OICs (Maharagama, Kottawa, Mirihana, Thalangama, Homagama, Kohuwala), Staff Officers, Development Officers (Divisions) and Grama Niladharis participated in this event through zoom technology.

The Maharagama Youth Club Federation presented a bag of daily necessities for 22 children of youth clubs affected by the Corona epidemic on 22-08-2021 under the patronage of Mr. Piyum Athurugiriya, Youth Services Officer, Maharagama.

Laying of the foundation stone for the houses of Mrs. B.D Dayawathi at Nilammahara Road Jaya Mawatha at 532A Godigamuwa South Division and Mrs. Hemamali at Kottawa South Division on 12^thaugust 2021 under patronage of Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman, Maharagama Coordinating Committee and Public Officers of the Division.

496-E Liyanagoda Division under the Gamata Geyak program 1267/3, Millagahawatta, Pannipitiya, The foundation stone of Anjalika Rashmi's new house was laid on 18.08.2021 under the patronage of Mr. Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman, Maharagama Coordinating Committee and other government officials.

The Monthly Divisional Day Meeting of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was held on 09.08.2021 under the patronage of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama at the office auditorium. Ms.S.K.S Jayasundera Assistant divisional secretary , other staff officers, Grama Niladharis and Field Officers were present at this meeting
