2021 World Children's Day Celebration and Jackfruit Planting Programme was held on 2021-10-01 at Rukmale Girl Child Development Center under the patronage of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama and Mrs. SK Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary with the participation of other government officials.

The meeting of Samurdhi Managers was held on 27-09-2021 at 9.15 am under the chairmanship of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary with the participation of Samurdhi Project Director, Headquarters Manager, Project Manager, Bank Managers and Samurdhi Development Officers in charge of the domain. The progress of Samurdhi projects was discussed and the first installment of houses for Saubhagya Week was issued, money was provided under sanitation facilities projects and scholarships were given under the "Sipdora" Scholarship Program under the leadership of the Divisional Secretary.

Budget 2022 Meetings of the Rural Committees on the Rural Affairs of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Divisions to discuss and hold discussions in recent days to obtain the development proposals prioritized for the allocations made to the Grama Niladhari Divisions through the “Gamasamaga pilisadara” meetings. Accordingly, the meetings were held in 41 Divisions of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat on 16th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd September 2021 in the Grama Niladhari Divisions. On the instructions of the Divisional Secretary of Maharagama, Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, the village committee meetings organized by the field officers including the development officers of the respective divisions were successfully held with the participation of the people's representatives, the village committee officers and the representatives of the community organizations.

Psychological Counseling Officer Nethra Gayani Malagoda sponsored the Saubhagya Production Village Entrepreneurs Motivation Program through Zoom Technology. This was organized by Mr. Nimal Dayaratne, Assistant Director, Planning Officer, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and Mr. Sameera, Samurdhi Project Manager, 2021-09-27.
