Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

A coordinating committee meeting related to “Gamasamaga Pilisadara” was held on 27th October 2021 at the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Leader of the House of Parliament, Minister of Education. Mr. Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Committee, Mrs. Kanthi Kodikara, Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama and other government officials were also present.

The label and logo design program organized by the Maharagama Small Business Development Division was successfully conducted online on October 26, 2021. The program created the logo for 14 entrepreneurs in the food and apparel industry, including spices, confectionery and bottled food.

Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama, with the assistance of Mrs. Menaka Wijesinghe, Cultural Officer and with the assistance of the members of the Cultural Authority, met the veteran artists in the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat area on 25^th October 2021.

On the instructions of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama, a training program for Grama Niladharis on the use of Productivity Techniques for the Management of Grama Niladhari Offices was conducted by the Productivity Promotion Officer of the National Productivity Secretariat, Mrs. Sandamali Weerakkody, with the resource contribution of the Divisional Secretariat on 27th october 2021.

According to a proposal made by Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama, a planting ceremony was held on 2021-10-22 to mark the holding of the Monthly Divisional Day Meeting of Grama Niladharis of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat near Boralesgamuwa Lake.
