Under the 527C Maharagama West Rural Economic Revival Committee, a practical training program on mushroom cultivation was conducted 2023.1.14 at Maharagama West Sanasa Samiti Hall. Resource contribution was provided by Mrs. Atma Withanage, Agriculture Consultant of Maharagama Agricultural Service Centre. Mr. Palitha, Agricultural Product Research Assistant in the Grama niladari division also participated in the program and about 16 beneficiaries participated. In the procurement of raw materials for the program, Madivela Development Officer Mr. Nadish provided support. Programme was organized by Maharagama West Development Officer Mrs.Sujeewa Liyanapathirana.
