It started from the temple under the leadership of Venerable Kinalagama Hemasara Nayaka Thero, the head of the Sanghanayake of the Western Province, the Honorary Registrar of the Maharagama Shasanarakshaka Balamandal, and the vihara chief of the Mirihana Vivekarama temple. 53 monks attended the Pindapatha tour. On the occasion of Vesak, Bana preaching and bakthi gee program was held at Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Auditorium on Monday 05/08/2023.

Maharagama divisional Coordinating Committee meeting was held on 08.05.2023 at Maharagama Divisional Secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of Honorable Prime Minister Maharagama Coordinating Committee Honorary Chairman, State Administration Home Affairs Provincial Administration and Provincial Council Honorary Cabinet Minister Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena. For this coordination committee meeting, political representatives, Maharagama Divisional Secretary M. M. K.Dilrukshi Walpola Government officials representing various institutions including Urban Development Authority, Irrigation Engineering Office, Maharagama Municipal Council. Office officials, economic development officers and field officers of Maharagama Divisional Secretariat participated in it.

Under the patronage of honorable Prime Minister Maharagama Coordinating Committee Honorary Chairman, State Administration Home Affairs Provincial Administration and Provincial Council Hon'ble Cabinet Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and Colombo District Secretary K.G.Wijesiri, the distribution of certificates to the winners of the “Kolomthota Waga Sangramaya” and the distribution of coconut saplings at the Grama Niladari division was carried out on 18.04.2023 at the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat with the participation of Government officials, representatives of community organizations and gardeners.
