Postal voting for public servants in connection with the 2020 Parliamentary General Elections was held on July 14 and 15.Accordingly, the postal voting for the officers of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was successfully completed within those two days.

Asala poya Dhamma preaching program for the officers of divisional secretariat and tribute for Ven. Meegahapelesse Vijithadhamma Thero were held on 08th July 2020 at Maharagama divisional secretariat.

Awareness Program for eradicating Dengue was held at Wattegedara Sri Vipassyarama Purana Viharaya on 23rd June by Maharagama  Divisional Secretariat and Maharagama Medical officer of health.

Landslide prone areas in Udahamulla East and Pragathipura Divisions  in the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat area were inspected  by Administrative Grama Niladharis, Grama Niladharis, Disaster Relief Services Officers and Disaster Management Officer on 2th June 2020.

Dengu eradication programme was held in Pamunuwa / Maharagama East / Maharagama West Grama Niladhari Divisions by Maharagama Divisional Secretariat ,Medical Officer of Health, and Police station on 23rd June 2020.
