Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

Maharagama divisional Coordinating Committee meeting was held on 05.06.2024 at Maharagama Divisional Secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of Honorable Prime Minister Maharagama Coordinating Committee Honorary Chairman, State Administration Home Affairs Provincial Administration and Provincial Council Honorary Cabinet Minister Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena. For this coordination committee meeting, political representatives, Maharagama Divisional Secretary M. M. K.Dilrukshi Walpola Government officials representing various institutions including Urban Development Authority, Irrigation Engineering Office, Maharagama Municipal Council. Office officials, economic development officers and field officers of Maharagama Divisional Secretariat participated in it.

On the occasion of Vesak, on 24/05/2024, a Pindapatha tour was held at the Mirihana Vivekarama temple with 60 monks. The coordination was done by the Divisional Secretariat Maharagama

On 24/05/08, the certificate awarding ceremony of the special six-month counseling training course for pre-school teachers was held in a very grand manner under the patronage of the Divisional Secretary. Mrs. Nayana Athukorala, chief management officer of the council and a group of invited guests participated. 23 pre-school teachers from Maharagama / Homagama divisional secretariats participated in this. The coordination was provided by early childhood development officer Mrs. Nilushani Ariyaratne.

Wesak bathi gee celebrations in Maharagama divisional secretariat was held on 22-05-2024 under the instructions and guidance of the Divisional Secretary. This was coordinated by Cultural Officer By Mrs. Prasani Jayasekara.
