Vaccination against COVID was carried out by the Maharagama Public Health Officer's Office on 30.03.2021 at the Maharagama Public Health Officer's Office for the people over 60 years of age residing in the 532A Godigamuwa South Grama Niladhari Division of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat. Officials of the Maharagama Urban Council, the Police, the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and other institutions also participated.

The 150 Hours of Tamil Language Free Course for Second Class Officers who are scheduled to obtain Official Language Proficiency which was commenced on 12-02-2021 and successfully completed on 26-03-2021. A Tamil Festival with various elements to launch was successfully held on 26-03-2021 under the coordination of Mrs. LPS Prasadika, National Integration Officer. Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama, SKS Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. and Mrs. Inoka Wijegunawardena, Assistant Director, Planning and other staff officers.

Coordinating Committee Meeting of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was held under the patronage of the Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Foreign Relations, on 29th March 2021 at the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat. Divisional Secretary of Maharagama Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola and other government officials and political representatives participated in this discussion. Development programs and other issues and proposals were discussed.
