Divisional Secretariat - Maharagama

A house in GN division of Kottawa town was destroyed completely by fire on 9^th January in 2019. Disaster relief officer, Grama Niladari and other officers of Maharagama Divisional secretariat handed over the relief provided by Ministry of Disaster Management to the displaced family on 13^th February 2019.

Programmes were held to inform the officers on 2019/01/30 and 2019/02/06 at Maharagama divisional secretariat about eradicating Sena Caterpillar and forming committees to make aware the people on it in the GN divisions.

Awareness programme on preparing performance agreement for officers attached to divisional secretariat Maharagama was held on 24^th January 2019 at Sankalana hall.

The main objective of this project is to provide a house for a low income family in each G.N Division. Awareness programme for government officers on the project “Gamata Geyak – Ratata hetak” was held on 29^th January 2020 at divisional secretariat with the patronage of divisional secretary.
