Rehearsal of prevention of fire and protection was carried out for staff of Maharagama divisional secretariat under the patronage of divisional secretary, Assistant director of disaster management center, coordinating officer disaster management , disaster rehabilitation officer on 29th May 2019 at divisional secretariat premises.

State land awareness program was held on 04th of June 2019 at the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the retired officer Sri Lanka Administrative Service Mr. Wijewickrama Ratnayake and the Mr. Sriyantha Gamage.

Inauguration ceremony of providing aids for the selected families of the division to convert temporary roofs of the houses to permanent roof under the Gamperaliya 2019 housing development project on 28^th of May at auditorium of divisional secretariat under the patronage honorable minister Mr.Champika Ranawaka.
