Maharagama divisional Coordinating Committee meeting was held on 18.04.2024 at Maharagama Divisional Secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of Honorable Prime Minister Maharagama Coordinating Committee Honorary Chairman, State Administration Home Affairs Provincial Administration and Provincial Council Honorary Cabinet Minister Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena. For this coordination committee meeting, political representatives, Maharagama Divisional Secretary M. M. K.Dilrukshi Walpola Government officials representing various institutions including Urban Development Authority, Irrigation Engineering Office, Maharagama Municipal Council. Office officials, economic development officers and field officers of Maharagama Divisional Secretariat participated in it.

The program held on the occasion of "Aurudu Traditions" of the Samurdhi Meehee Kekulu Children's Club of the Samurdhi Community Foundation of Pathiragoda Samurdhi Praja Moola Samiti, Maharagama Town Zone, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division. 09.04.2024 On this occasion, the religious rites were performed by Rev. Narada of Nalandarama temple. Maharagama Bank Society Manager Mrs. Ramani Perera, Maharagama Town Development Manager Miss. Ranjika Violet, Grama Niladari Mr. Sudira, representatives of local voluntary societies and members of the Community Root Organization participated in the event. Various dances were performed to showcase the talents of the children including all the rituals of the year since the beginning of the New Year's Eve. Here awareness activities and announcements were provided by Sanduni daughter (currently a new anchor of Derana channel). The labor for all these activities was done by dear fathers

On 2024-03-02, Maharagama East Grama sanwardana society election meeting, Lecture on Community Health - (Ayurvedic Doctor Mrs. Nirosha Matara), Lecture on Prevention of Mental Illness - (Sri Jayawardene AG office Counseling Officer Mr. Lalith Vanniarachchi) - Pamunwa Welfare Society Hall

On this occasion, Sirimangalarama Vihara Rev.Matale Sumanajoti Thero, Family Health Officer, Economic development officer, Grama niladari, Grama sanwardana Members of the society including the chief officers, many children of the Pipena kakulu Children's Club also participated.
