A special one-day mobile service on government services jointly by the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and the Municipal Council Rukmale East A GN division, Rukmale East B GN division, Rukmale GN division, Malapalla East GN division, Malapalla West GN division for the people was done under the charmenship of the Prime Minister Maharagama Coordinating Committee Honorary Chairman, Public Administration Home Affairs Local Government and Provincial Council Honorable Cabinet Minister Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena and Mr. KG Wijesiri Colombo District secretary was done, on Saturday 17-02-2024 at Rukmalgama Community Hall.

In conjunction with the National Independence Day, on 07.02.2024, Maharagama Vipasyarama temple, an “Atawisi Buddha Puja pinkama” was held under the auspices of the Reverend Lord. Staff officers and office officials including the Divisional Secretary participated in this.

Mrs. Ashoka Ramyalatha's house built under Ranvimana housing programme in Makubura North area . Mrs. Ashoka Ramyalatha's house was opened on 30.01.2024 at 10.41 am on 30.01.2024 under the chairmanship of divisional secretary Dilrukshi Walpola.

On 02/01/2024, an awareness programme was held for women who are planning to go abroad about the Manusavi Pension. Isuri Perera, Social Security Officer of the Colombo District Secretariat contributed resources for this. On that day, Maharagama Divisional Secretary awarded the deed for the Manusavi pension to a migrant worker.
