Donation of dry food bags to 50 economically disadvantaged families in 493 Kalalgoda Division on 2021-09-10 was made by a charitable lady. The food bags were distributed to the beneficiaries with the participation of the Grama Niladhari.

Under Home Gardening Program Inauguration Ceremony of Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division 2021 Maha Season Symbolically distributing seed packets and coconut seedlings was held on 09-09-2021 under the patronage of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama. Beneficiaries representing the Assistant Divisional Secretary, Samurdhi Urban Zone Manager, Project Manager, Headquarters Manager, all Samurdhi Development Officers in the Zone, Chairman of the Board of Governors and all other divisions participated in this event. The event took place at Boralesgamuwa Reservoir in the Maharagama Urban Zone. This was organized by the Maharagama Urban Samurdhi Community Based Finance Bank.
