A monitoring visit to the development of Boralesgamuwa tank under the "Irrigation Prosperity" program. Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama and officials of the Divisional Secretariat, Irrigation Department, Urban Development Authority, Sri Lanka Land Reclamation Corporation, Survey Department, Political Officers and Domain Trustees was carried out on 6th october 2021.

Mr. M.B Sooriyabandara, Sports Officer, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat, organized a Psychological Motivation Program for the World Children's Day on the theme “Happiness is You in My World” organized for the Kottawa Cricket and Athletic Sports Club via Zoom on 2021-10-02. Resource contribution was provided by Mrs. Nethra Malagoda, Psychological Counseling Officer.

The house of Mr. W. Wasantha Alwis in the Wattegedara Division of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and the house of Mr. W.N Dharmasiri in the Maharagama East Division were constructed under the guidance of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, the Divisional Secretary of the Maharagama. Handing over ceremony was done under the patronage of Dinesh Gunawardena, Leader of the House, Minister of Education, and political representatives and Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama, Development Officer, Grama Niladhari and other government officials were present on the occasion.
