"Guru Abhimani" Monthly Allowance Program for Pre-School Teachers 2021 - Inauguration Ceremony under the patronage of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary was held on 02 -08-2021 with the participation of other staff officers and this was organized by Miss Dileka Abeynayake, Early Childhood Development Officer.

Inaugural ceremony of the national programme on Entrepreneur per Village of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was held on 07.31.2021 under the patronage of Major Pradeep Udugoda, Member of Parliament for Colombo District and Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, District Secretary of Colombo. Mr. Upali Kodikara and Mrs. Kanthi Kodikara, Deputy Chairman of the Maharagama Coordinating Committee, Mr. Senaka Silva, Director Planning , Mrs. M.M.K. Dilrukshi Walpola divisional secretary Maharagama and other government officials were also present. It was organized and directed by the Vidatha Center and supervised and directed by the District Secretariat and the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat.

A fitness exercise to commemorate the National Sports Day under the theme 'Sports Helps to Maintain Physical Health' was held with the patronage of the Divisional Secretary of Maharagama Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola for the staff of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat with the assistantce of resource person, Sports Officer Mr. MB Sooriyabandara.

Dinesh gunawardena Held at the Divisional Secretariat on 30-07-2021. Mr. Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman of the Maharagama Coordinating Committee and Mrs. Kanthi Kodikara, Divisional Secretary of Maharagama. Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola and Maharagama Divisional Director of Education were also present.
