Organization and Participation- samurdhi Development Officers, Village Officers, Development Officers, Agricultural Production Research Assistant Officers in the GN division of Udahamulla Neganahira, Thalapathpitiya Madiwala and Pragatipura.

Participation- Venerable Madiwala Sivali Thera, all officials of the above GN division, public representatives and political representatives of Maharagama Municipal Council, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat including Divisional Secretary, Samurdhi managers, officers and members of community grass root organizations, marketing entrepreneurs.

Target Group- To increase the income of the above mentioned Samurdhi Prajamula organizations including rural entrepreneurs and other farmers.

Number of stalls- 41

Objective- To increase and encourage the economic status of the small and commercial entrepreneurial community, to provide quality and essential services to the local residents at a fair price.

Humanitarian Assistance Project for Colombo District, Urban Agriculture Support of Maharagama Division Second phase of providing gardening tools and seed packets to low-income beneficiaries who are doing gardening under the Gardening Humanitarian Response Programme conducted by Save the Children Institute on 09.12.2022, Maharagama It was held at the Divisional Secretariat Office under the leadership of Maharagama Assistant Divisional Secretary and Deputy Director and with the participation of economic Development Officers, Save the Children Institute Officers and Agriculture Development Officers.

The monthly trade fair organized by the Small Business Development Division was held on November 28 at the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat premises.The fair started with the participation of the Divisional Secretary, the Assistant Divisional Secretary and the Accountant and it was possible to provide business opportunities for 18 entrepreneurs.

An enjoyable program for the scholarship rehearsal and mental development of the 5 year children was held on 23/11/2022 at the Sandhwani Hall of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat according to the instructions of the Divisional Secretary Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola under the guidance of Mrs. K. Ramani Perera, the Chairman of the Maharagama Samurdhi Bank Society, Social Development Assistant Indhani Jayalatha. It was conducted with the support of all Samurdhi managers and Samurdhi Development Officers. The keynote address was delivered by Ayurvedic physician, Professor G.L. Padiyapperuma. The head office manager Mrs. Shyama Siriwardena and the project manager Mr. Samira Anuranga also participated in this event.
