On 2th of April 2023 Rukmale East Village Development Society organized an annual Aurudu fair at Rukmale Bus Stand to create financial stability for the membership and collect society funds.

It is special to hold a market stall in the pre-schools.

Village Development Officer, Honorary Chairman of Rukmale East Village Development Society, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Chairman of Rukmale West Village Development Society, Community Police Officers, elite personnel of the country, Pre-school teachers, Society membership participated in this event.

Save the children gardenning programme was held at Kottawa North Region Moragaha Kanda welfare society hall on Saturday 04.03.2023 from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Beneficiaries of Kottawa North, Kottawa West ,Liyangoda GN divisions participated.

The distribution of equipment to the entrepreneurs trained for the second stage of footwear production by the Sri Lanka Textile and Garment Institute took place on 27/02/2023 at the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat... This opportunity was given to 10 women entrepreneurs who were coordinated by the Small Business Development Division and the Divisional Secretary, Assistant Divisional Secretary and officials of the Sri Lanka Textile and Apparel Institute participated for this event.
