With the financial assistance of the Ministry of Environment and the supervision of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat, in coordination with the Rural Development Societies and the Children's Club, 300 hybrid jackfruit plants were planted in the Maharagama Division on 11th December 2021 at 9 am at the Malapalla. Chairman of the Friends of the Earth Environment Organization, Mr. Karunadasa Munagama, Former Municipal Councilor, Mr. Jagath Pathirana, Postmaster, Child Rights Promotion Officer; Malapalla west and east Grama Niladharis, Development Officers, Samurdhi Officers, Sewing Instructor, Heads and Members of Malapalla East and Western Rural Development Societies, Children Committee Members were participated at this event.
