Vishwabimana awarding ceremony organized by western province cultural ministry was held at Bandaranayake memorial hall on 5^th November 2019. Six artists from Maharagama division were awarded at the ceremony. Then artists were also honored at Maharagama divisional secretariat on 20^th November 2019 on the advice of divisional secretariat Mrs.Dilrukshi Walpola. The names of the artists are as follows
