Vishwabimana awarding ceremony organized by western province cultural ministry was held at Bandaranayake memorial hall on 5th November 2019. Six artists from Maharagama division were awarded at the ceremony. Then artists were also honored at Maharagama divisional secretariat on 20th November 2019 on the advice of divisional secretariat Mrs.Dilrukshi Walpola. The names of the artists are as follows
