The COVID vaccination was given to the residents of Godigamuwa North Grama Niladhari Division in the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division by the Maharagama Public Health Officer's Office on 02.03.2021 at the Maharagama Darmayathanaya. The Hon. Member of Parliament Mr. Pradeep Udugoda and the District Secretary Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne observed this occasion and the staff officers including the Divisional Secretary of Maharagama Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola and the officials of the Maharagama Police, Maharagama Urban Council and other institutions also participated in this occasion.

The two year anniversary of Grama Shakthi Janatha Samithi of 532A Godigamuwa South Division, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division and the election of office bearers was held on 2021-02-06 at 3.00 pm at Saddharmarama Temple with the patronage of development Officer Mrs. Yamuna Chathurani and Grama Niladhari Mrs. M.Thushari.

Inauguration ceremony of Reconstruction of Boralesgamuwa tank sluice and cleaning of the tank (Project Implementing Agency - Irrigation Department ) – under Irrigation Prosperity programme was held with the participation of the Hon. Gamini Lokuge, Minister of Transport, member of parliament Major Pradeep Udugoda, District Secretary Colombo Mr. Pradeep yasarathna, . The event was coordinated by Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama. The Director of the Department of Irrigation, Kesbewa Divisional Secretary and public officials, public representatives and representatives of farmers' organizations also participated in this event.
