COVID control vaccination was given by the Maharagama Public Health Officer's Office on 24.03.2021 at Dharmavijayaloka Viharaya to the people over 60 years of age residing in Rukmale West / East / East A, Kottawa East Grama Niladhari Divisions of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division. Officials of the Maharagama Urban Council, the Police, the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and other institutions also participated.

The Maharagama Public Health Officer's Office administered the COVID control vaccine to the people over 60 years of age residing in the Thalawathugoda West / East Grama Niladhari Divisions of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat on 19.03.2021 at the Ganelanda Viharaya. Officials of the Maharagama Urban Council, the Police, the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and other institutions also participated in this event.

The house of Mrs. EB Sirimawathie in Thalapathpitiya Division in Maharagama Divisional Secretariat and the house of Mrs. Thanuja in Udahamulla West Division under the guidance of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary of Maharagama were successfully completed under the Gamata Geyak National Housing Program. The handing over ceremony was held on 24th March 2021 with the participation of Mr. Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Committee and political representatives and Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary of Maharagama, Development Officer, Grama Niladhari, and other government officials.

Laying of the foundation stone for the house of Mrs. Somawathie in the Udahamulla East Division of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was held on 2021-03-19 under the guidance of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama. Mr. Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Committee, Mrs. Kanthi Kodikara and Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary of Maharagama and other government officials were also present.
