Psychological Counseling Officers Nethra Malagoda with resource contributions for the program organized by the Western Province DIG's Office Mrs. Nethra Malagoda Counseling Assistant Mrs. Sripali Pitawela Drug Counseling Assistant Mrs. Kalhari Jayasekara participated.

A field inspection was carried out by the staff officers including Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama on 08.02.2022 to check the present condition of the dilapidated textile industry Building in the 529-Polwatta Division to develop it as a multi-purpose building.

The opening ceremony of the elevator of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat was held on 06-01-2022 under the patronage of Mr. Pradeep Yasaratne, District Secretary, Colombo. Thereafter he visited all the divisions of the Divisional Secretariat, inspected its activities and gave necessary instructions. Divisional secretary Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola and staff participated in this event.

2022-01-08 498- Shramadana program organized by Malapalla East Public Security Committee, Maharagama Urban Council and Kottawa Police Environment Unit was conducted in the division. Simultaneously, garbage collection, assessment tax collection was done at the Seva Piyasa Multipurpose Center and work was done to replace the light bulbs for the idle lights on the road.
