Maharagama Divisional Secretariat All Creative Talent Exhibition Programs centered on all pre-schools were conducted on 2022-03-15 under the supervision of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama under the guidance of Mrs. Nilushani Ariyaratne, Early Childhood Development Officer and organized by the Pre-School Joint Teachers Association. More than 60 pre-schools were involved in these programmes.

Coordinating meeting to discuss the progress and issues of the projects in the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division headed by Hon. Deputy Chairman Mr. Upali Kodikara Held at the Divisional Secretariat, Maharagama on 2022-03-15 with the participation of the Chief Minister. Political representatives and government officials including Maharagama Divisional Secretary Dilrukshi Walpola.

A programme to distribute school equipment to children of selected low income families affected by Covid 19, under the guidance of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary on 2022-03-11 was organized by the Child Rights Promotion Officer. On this occasion ,Assistant Divisional Secretary Mrs. S.K.Jayasundera and Mr. Nimal Dayaratne, Assistant Director were also present.

The first stage of the 47th National Sports Festival, the Inter Sports Club Sports Festival was held on 2022-03-12 at the Maharagama National Youth Services Stadium. The Secretary to the Ministry of Sports, Western Province, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama, the staff including the Maharagama Sports Officer, the District Sports Officer, the Chairman of the National Youth Services Council, the Principal of the President's College, all sports clubs and sportsmen and women participated in this event.

A "stress-free life for all" itself The first program of the Psychological Training Workshop which is expected to be held in six months with the aim of making the career and personal life of the early childhood teachers successful was held on 2022-03-09 at the auditorium of the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat. The program is organized by Mrs. Nilushini Ariyaratne, Early Childhood Development Officer and resource contribution was done by counselling officer Nethra Malagoda and Counselling assistant and assistant counselling (Drugs) Mrs.Kalhari Wasana. The concept of this program was developed by the Advisory Division, Maharagama Divisional Secretariat.
