Opening of several houses built for low income families in the Maharagama Divisional Secretariat Division under the guidance of the National Housing Development Authority under the 'Obata Geyak Ratata Hetak” programme by the Chairman of the National Housing Development Authority, Duminda Silva and Hon. Upali Kodikara, Deputy Chairman of the Coordinating Committee Mrs. Kanthi Kodikara and Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary, Maharagama attended over the opening of 2 houses at Udahamulla East, 2 houses at Pathiragoda, 1 house at Godigamuwa South and 2 houses at Kottawa South on 2022-03-26. Municipal councilors, government officials and rural committee representatives also participated in this event.

A Model Village Programme for 84 Women Entrepreneurs in the Sewing Industry was held under the patronage of Mr. Jagath Pathirana, Member of the Municipal Council for the Divisions of Malapalla East, Malapalla West and Makumbura North on 2022-03-18 at the Malapalla Sahana Piyasa. Samurdhi Project Manager Sameera Anuranga, Development Officer, Samurdhi Officers and other government officials were present.

Under the supervision of Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary and Mrs. S.K Jayasundara, Assistant Divisional Secretary, a series of Psychological Counseling Programs based on the Therapeutics and Strengths aimed at making the careers and personal lives of a group of randomly selected officers attached to the office a success under the theme 'A Happy World' The sixth program was held on 2022-03-24 in the auditorium of the Divisional Secretariat. This is a series of research programs to be conducted over a period of four months. These programs were created by Psychology Consultant Officer Nethra Malagoda. Resource Contribution was done by Psychology Counseling Officer Mrs. Nethra Malagoda and Counseling Assistant Mrs. Sripali Pitawela.

This program was organized by Godigamuwa North, Godigamuwa South Development Officers. The program was created by Psychology Counseling Officer Nethra Malagoda. The resource contribution was provided by Mrs. Nethra Malagoda, Assistant Counselor Mrs. Sripali Pitawela and the Development Officer Mrs. Yamuna also participated in this programme.
