The Wattegedara Tank and its surrounding environment were cleaned under the Clean Sri Lanka program held in Wattegedara Division on 31-1-2025. This was done with the cooperation of the Chairman of the Maharagama Regional Coordination Committee, Mr. Devananda Suraweera, the Divisional Secretary, the Assistant Planning Director, and other government officials, political representatives, and residents of the area.
