The inaugural ceremony of the project to construct the Bodhi Road and the bridge connecting Mirihana Road across the Madiwela Mirihana Main Canal under the "HADWATH YAA KARANA GAME PAALAMA" was held on 14 March 2021 under the patronage of Hon. Wijedasa Rajapaksa, Member of Parliament for Colombo District. Divisional Secretary Mrs. Dilrukshi Walpola and other government officials and political representatives participated in this event.
